Yesterday (April 13th) I went to the Dutch embassy to tell them about my idea. They think it's a great plan and tomorrow they'll call the Bengal ministry of foreign affairs to see if I can get permiss

Todat I went to the police office to ask for permission for my monument. Unfortunately, that was not the way to do it. First I need to visit the Dutch embassy and with their help I can ask for permiss

Out of respect for all those people who are left behind and suffering, I want to clean all the textiles and personal leftovers of the victims found at the Rana Plaza ground ..

I decided I wanted to create a memorial. - #ranaplaza #hh070

and while I was doing so, I realized that these items, covered in mud and dirt, were the main witnesses of the entire tragedy that happened last year. #ranaplaza #hh070

Automatically I started collecting pieces of textile .. #ranaplaza #hh070

and the labels of brands who produced their clothes at the Rana Plaza factory. @mango #ranaplaza #hh070

What really got me was the area was one big mess. There were leftovers of people's personal belongings, clothes,..

People were crying about deceased family members. Often their bodies were never found.. #ranaplaza #hh070

It looked awful.. #ranaplaza #hh070

I decided to visit the place. #ranaplaza #hh070

Because I heard so many stories about the tragic disaster at the clothing factory 'Rana Plaza' just outside Dhaka, which collapsed and killed 1129 people last year,

April 10 - I really needed some fresh air, so I decided to leave the city, at least for today.

I heard that the old center of Dhaka would be a nice place to go, so I went. But the polluted air was so terrible that the day after, I woke up with a sore throat :-(
