So. The girl next to me. She's begging for food and money (the other children too, but especcially this girl comes to me every day)
I bought rice for her for a waaaay to high price and when I did, I knew she had a deal with the seller (she gets a big part of the rice money from him) She lies to me about her mom. Told me she had an accident. broke her leg. has no eyes. Today she died. - all not true. I know her mom is walking around here too and I know she and her sisters make lots of money for her drug addicted father. Still. every day I give her money. She knows that I know she is lying. But she doesn't care. I find it hard to ignore her because, yea, she is cheating on me. But she is a 12 year old girl begging on the street of New Delhi. I can't blame her for that. I do blame her parents. So. What to do?
