#throwbackmonday SAVE OUR CHILDREN - While you - and many others with you - are probably unaware of it, our (future) children face a huge life threat. The worlds phosphate reserves will reach depletion within one hundred years from now.
In the most favorable (now scientifically imaginable) scenario, by then only one-third of the earths population can be fed. Phosphate is the basic ingredient in the production of fertilizer. Fertilizer is required for large-scale food production in order to feed the current and expected world population. While scientists all over the planet have already been examining this issue for years, politicians are hesitant to touch it. An attitude easily explained, given the prevailing short-termism in politics. It is high time that this threat gets solid national and international public awareness, and thus ends up on the political agendas across the globe.

The project examines an assertion of scientist Wouter de Heij, who states there is only one guaranteed solution to this distressing problem: We have to stop making so many babies, in order to sufficiently reduce the population. Socially not exactly a popular theorem.
But for TINKEBELL., after proven to be true, a compelling reason to draw a drastic personal conclusion.
